Ultrasonic cleaners are widely used in auto parts, medical devices, precision hardware, aerospace accessories and other industries due to their high efficiency, non-damage and full-coverage cleaning performance. Standard operation can not only ensure the cleanliness of workpieces and completely remove oil stains, dust and processing residues, but also effectively extend equipment service life, avoid failures and potential safety hazards, and reduce production rework and maintenance costs. This article sorts out the core usage precautions of industrial ultrasonic cleaners for standardized enterprise operation.
一、Startup & Liquid Level Standards
- Never start the machine with an empty tank. Before startup, fill the tank with clean water or special cleaning solution, and keep the liquid level between the minimum and maximum scale marks (no less than 2/3 of the tank height). Dry operation will directly damage the transducer and ultrasonic generator, leading to core component failure.
- Do not overfill the tank to avoid liquid overflow during operation, which may cause circuit short circuit and body corrosion. Meanwhile, insufficient liquid level will lead to uneven release of ultrasonic energy and poor cleaning effect.
- Always cut off the power before filling, draining or replacing cleaning liquid. Never operate with power on to prevent electric shock risks.
二、Workpiece Placement Requirements
- Place all workpieces in a special cleaning basket instead of directly on the tank bottom. Direct contact with the tank bottom will block ultrasonic transmission, resulting in incomplete cleaning, and cause tank wear and transducer damage due to vibration.
- Place workpieces loosely and orderly without stacking or overlapping
